Challenge
Karl Meiner, a professor at Chemeketa Community College, is publishing a textbook through the college. He needed a cover design for his book.

Solution
I began with sketches, while exploring multiple avenues. I decided to go with a typographic solution, as typography is timeless. From a student perspective, I planned for it to stand out on the bookstore shelf, making it easy to find while still being professional.
